Terms & Conditions

Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before making a booking with Perth Glow Furniture Hire. By proceeding with a booking, you agree to be bound by these terms.

01Booking & Payment

All bookings are subject to availability and are not confirmed until a deposit has been received. Deposit requirements are as follows:

  • A non-refundable deposit of 30% of the total hire fee is required to secure your booking date.
  • The remaining balance is due no later than 7 days prior to your event date.
  • For bookings made within 7 days of the event, full payment is required at the time of booking.
  • Payment can be made via bank transfer, credit card, or through our online booking system.

Prices are listed in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST unless otherwise stated. Perth Glow Furniture Hire reserves the right to adjust pricing at any time, however confirmed bookings will honour the price agreed at the time of booking.

02Cancellation Policy

Cancellations must be made in writing via email to info@pgfh.com.au. The following cancellation fees apply:

  • More than 30 days before event: Deposit forfeited. No further charge.
  • 14–30 days before event: 50% of total hire fee is payable.
  • 7–14 days before event: 75% of total hire fee is payable.
  • Less than 7 days before event: 100% of total hire fee is payable.

We understand that circumstances can change. If you need to reschedule your event, we will do our best to accommodate the new date subject to availability. A rescheduling fee may apply.

03Delivery & Setup

Perth Glow Furniture Hire will arrange delivery, setup, and pack-down of all hired equipment. The following conditions apply:

  • Delivery is available within the Perth metropolitan area. Delivery fees apply based on location and will be quoted at time of booking.
  • The client is responsible for ensuring safe and clear access to the setup area for our team and vehicles.
  • Setup times will be agreed in advance. Our team will require adequate time to set up prior to your event start time.
  • Pack-down will occur at a pre-agreed time after your event. The client must ensure all hired items are accessible and undisturbed at pack-down time.
  • Any delays caused by the client that affect our team's schedule may incur additional charges.

04Equipment Use

All hired equipment remains the property of Perth Glow Furniture Hire at all times. The following conditions of use apply:

  • Equipment must be used only for its intended purpose and in accordance with any instructions provided.
  • The client must not attempt to modify, dismantle, or repair any hired equipment.
  • Equipment must not be moved from the agreed setup location without prior written consent from Perth Glow Furniture Hire.
  • LED furniture is battery-powered and wireless. Do not attempt to connect it to mains power.
  • Dance floors and furniture must not be used in ways that could cause damage — including use in water, on uneven surfaces beyond what was agreed, or in conditions outside those discussed at booking.

05Damage & Loss

The client accepts full financial responsibility for any loss, theft, or damage to hired equipment that occurs during the hire period.

  • A security bond may be required for certain bookings and will be refunded upon return of equipment in satisfactory condition.
  • Damage costs will be assessed by Perth Glow Furniture Hire and invoiced to the client. Replacement costs apply for lost or irreparably damaged items.
  • Normal wear and tear is accepted. However, staining, cracking, breakage, or loss due to negligence or misuse will be charged to the client.

We recommend clients take out event insurance that covers hired equipment. Perth Glow Furniture Hire does not offer equipment insurance.

06Liability

Perth Glow Furniture Hire's total liability for any claim arising from a booking is limited to the value of the hire fee paid. We are not liable for:

  • Indirect, consequential, or special damages of any kind.
  • Loss of enjoyment, loss of revenue, or reputational damage.
  • Injury caused by misuse of hired equipment or failure to follow provided instructions.
  • Any delays, cancellations, or service disruptions caused by events outside our reasonable control (including severe weather, illness, or road closures).

07Weather & Outdoor Events

Our equipment is suitable for outdoor use under normal weather conditions. However:

  • Equipment must not be used in heavy rain, storms, or extreme wind without appropriate shelter or protection.
  • The client is responsible for providing adequate shelter if weather is forecast to be adverse.
  • Perth Glow Furniture Hire reserves the right to refuse setup or remove equipment if conditions are deemed unsafe for our team or the equipment.
  • No refunds are provided for weather-related disruptions unless Perth Glow Furniture Hire is unable to fulfill the booking.

08Client Conduct

Perth Glow Furniture Hire reserves the right to remove equipment and/or terminate a hire arrangement without refund if our team is subjected to abusive, threatening, or unsafe behaviour. The client is responsible for the conduct of all guests in relation to the hired equipment.

09Privacy

Perth Glow Furniture Hire collects personal information (name, contact details, event information) solely for the purpose of processing and managing your booking. We do not share or sell your personal information to third parties. By making a booking, you consent to us using your contact details to communicate with you regarding your hire.

Photography and video taken at events where Perth Glow equipment is featured may be used for marketing purposes (website, social media) unless you expressly request otherwise at the time of booking.
